Aly Q - from your earlier post I see that you are a confirmed shopper. Before you ask a lender to lock in a rate for you, be sure you have done all of the due dillence, comparisons of loan officer competence, rates, and ability to perform. Once that is done properly, you should be able to close in the time table that was agreed on as you were shopping.? Continue to shop after you lock would seem to be an oxy moron.
